LAKESIDE BEACH ACCESS

Lakeside Beach, one of the finest sand beachs on the entire Lake on the South/East Shore is privately owned by Lakeside Park Association.  Lakeside Beach provides a quiet moment to reflect, a beach for a refreshing dip in the water or a leisurely picknick on the sands.  .Lakeside Beach provides a lifeguard in summer season to overlook a protected swim area.   Paddle boats and kayaks are available for rent on the water on the south end of the beach.    Swing sets, childrens playset and regulation volley ball offer activity on land. 

The north beach is improved with walkway and seating and is available for scheduled homeowner’s picknicks, family reunions and weddings.  To avoid any scheduling conflicts, it is asked that all groups coordinate their event by telephoning 530-545-8453.

Transportation:  Walking and bicycles are encouraged.  Lakeside Beach and Marina are serviced by the local bus and trolley system. 

Access to homeowners is year round with proper plastic pass 6:00am 9:00pm.  A gatekeeper is present in summer season from 8:00am thru 7pm seven days a week.  A certified lifeguard is present summer season, weather permitting.  Rest rooms are under same summer access.
