LAKESIDE BEACH, MARINA AND BEACH GRILL

Lake Tahoe is always spectacular, but seldom do all of the natural elements come together to compliment a world-class beach, a jewel of a marina and upscale lakeside restaurant.  Located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe and privately owned by Lakeside Park Association, this sandy beach offers a moment of reflection, a cool swim in the Lake waters, or a picnic with family and friends.  Get the energy going with a regulation volleyball court, swings and jungle playset for the children.  Wave Runners, paddleboats and kayaks are available on the beach.  A protected swim area is  under the watchful eye of our certified lifeguards.  

Lakeside Beach Club, on the beach, will help create your own oasis. You can rent beach umbrellas, chairs and lounges for shade and comfort from the harsh sierra sun.   Also on the beach, paddle boats and kayaks offer a gentler experience while Wave Runners and larger craft are available for the hour or day.  The Snack Shack offers simpler food and refreshment, sundries and water toys.

Lakeside Beach Grill  overlooks only the water and it remains one of the best kept secrets of the Lake.  Serving both lunch and dinner, with scheduled entertainment, the restaurant offers not just great food and beverage, but memories to last a lot longer.  Local beers and regional wines compliment an exceptional menu.  The open air seating, umbrellas and flowers all contribute to your unique experience.  Reservations are suggested.   Banquet arrangements from simple buffets to the entire restaurant buyout is available. Lakeside Marina has the latest in powerboats and personal water craft. Rent a motorboat  to cruise the waters, take a trip to Emerald Bay or try the water sports of wakeboarding and waterskiing.   Take the water taxi to other points of interest and bicycle back or take the Hwy 50 Trolley back to South Lake Tahoe.  Fuel, launching and berths can be accomplished thru the marina.
